Established in 1984 Evita is almost as old as me. To have such an establishment in 2017 with years of experience speak volumes and it was an honour for me to enjoy their fine dining experience.
I was definitely not dressed for the Evita's experience. Well not how I would have dressed had I received prior notice. My dear future hubby and me enjoys dining out so when the question was asked and I could not decide what I wanted for dinner it was like a light bulb was turned on in his head. "Jump in Dee, Let's go!"

(Where I thought I was ITALY)
Pulling in to the parking lot and seeing an antique car parked near the entrance of the restaurant immediately transformed my geographical location. No longer were we in St. Ann, we were now in Italy. The gingerbread style home was very simple and inviting. I glanced on my attire, closed my eyes and wished I was dressed for this "grand" occasion #Italian. The perfect attire, a long floral skirt, close fitting half the shoulder top, flat sandals and my hear in a messy yet neat style wearing earrings that were bold or vibrant in colour/ texture.
(Just perfect)
"Dee, let me take you to meet Eva, well that's if she was in office!" Garfield's voice jolted me back to reality and I slowly walked across and maneuvered my way down a flight of stairs to entire the main office.
Eva, oh Eva! She was a warm, jovial, charming, enthusiastic, optimistic and passionate person. Within six (6) minutes of being in her company in her quaint office that mimics a cottage, I could tell her love and pride for her business. She shared quite a few stories about the restaurant and other current affairs in her life. It was a joy watching her skillfully dramatize during her stories, acting out a part using her hands and then in mid air she would pause, break the silence with another thought.
Dinner was served on the outdoor balcony over looking the town. I couldn't help but admire the orchids that were hanging from the roof near the front entrance and how gracefully they added their unique touch to the architecture. Although without a reservation we were great with a big smile and was quickly ushered to where we could sit. The restaurant was lively. It was a mixture of laughter, talking and music. Italian music, oh I was quiet sure by then that I was in an alley in Italy having dinner.

It was a beautiful and relaxing view. The light along the harbor left soft glows on the the waterfront.

Dinner was Chicken Alfedo. I am inclined to say "Chicken Alfredo Penne" or "Chicken Alfredo Fettuccine" however I am not sure what was it officially but I do know "Alfredo" was the dish hahahahaha . Overall it was a great night."Cheers to life and all the joy it brings"
For a relaxing Italian night overlooking twinkling lights in the town of Ocho Rios, I would personally recommend Evita. It's a lovers dining experience in Italy Ocho Rios.
